California Hotel is clean and bright. Rooms are a little small but nice, warm and clean. Great shower with red hot water Good english breakfast not that continental rubbish Will come again.

The people at the Hotel California were extremely pleasant. One anomaly to be aware of: there is WiFi service in the lobby and in the rooms (with lower power), but no phone in the rooms (at least mine); pay phone in the lobby. For that reason, not great for business travel if you dont have a mobile phone, but quite comfortable otherwise.

very pleased with California Hotel London, room small but met the needs of myself and 2 daughters, room cleaned daily, full en suite and an excellent breakfast. Just a stones throw fronm Kings Cross with excellent tube access to the rest of London would definately use again and recommend to others. sharon,Sara and Laura Aug 06

Excellent hotel, a jewel in the heart of Kings Cross. Pleasant staff, lovely room with hot shower and beverage facilities. California Hotel in London was well worth the money. Will book it again.

The room was large, bright, very clean and well-kept. The hotel staff were very friendly. All in all, I was very happy with my stay, and hope to stay at the California Hotel again soon.

I had a lovely room at the California Hotel (tiny but what do you need overnight?). Everything was perfect. Great Value for money.

I found the California Hotel to be clean and tidy, with friendly knowledgeable staff. My room was small but spotlessly clean. I'd stay here again. The California is very close to both Kings Cross and St Pancras Station and just down the road from Euston Station. Although I should add that Kings Cross is not the best part of town!
