By Plane : The Heathrow Airbus goes to Marble Arch or the Heathrow Express to Paddington followed by the Bakerloo line to Oxford Street. The Gatwick Express goes directly to Victoria and from there you can take the a taxi for approx 10 mins to the The Selfridge.

I arrived from Australia, via Paris, on a November evening. My taxi door was opened promptly at the hotel entrance, and my case lifted out by and taken into the foyer, while I was shown to the reception desk to book in. The staff were helpful and attentive to my pre-existing booking. I travel as a female senior, and alone. Assistance with both hand and large luggage was forthcoming as I was escorted to my room on the sixth floor, via one of the three lifts. My room had good lighting, wall, overhead, and bedside, plus excellent lighting in the bathroom. I found the facilities bright and clean. I took advantage of dining in my room for two nights of my four-night stay at the hotel. The meals were prompt and my choice from the menu was well-presented. The choice of dishes at the buffet breakfast was good, and the staff cheerful and helpful. As I travel alone, I am always pleased to note that the service afforded me is the same as that shown to larger groups, or couples.
